Ofure was created to help people act earlier, complete important health steps and stay supported when care is spread across different services.
Why we started Ofure
We lost a close young friend to breast cancer before treatment could begin. She cared about her health. The experience left us asking whether clearer preventive guidance, earlier action and better support through care could help other people and families find their way.
That question became Ofure: how do we help someone move from “I should do this” to completing the next step? We started building practical support for the checks, referrals and follow-up that can otherwise be delayed or left unfinished.
The need for earlier action is real

Earlier cancer diagnosis and timely treatment can improve outcomes and save lives. Acting on blood pressure, blood sugar and other risk factors, with appropriate treatment and follow-up, can help prevent or delay premature cardiovascular deaths.
The problem we are trying to solve
A hospital, pharmacy, laboratory, specialist or insurer may each hold one part of someone’s care. People and families often have to connect those parts themselves. A referral gets forgotten, a check is put off, or results and documents sit across paper, phones and facilities.
Ofure is built around the person. We want people to keep track of what matters across different services, with a health history they control and a clear way to involve someone they trust.

Ask Ofure uses AI to explain health information in plain language and connect questions to available journeys, reminders and places for care.
It does not diagnose, prescribe, change medication or independently interpret complex medical results. It does not replace a healthcare professional or provide emergency care.

Our focus is keeping care connected around the person, including family support when they choose it.
Where we are today and where we’re going
Ask Ofure is live in the app. Our current modules cover Cardiometabolic Health and Cancer Prevention & Early Detection. The app helps people follow health journeys, keep their information together and involve family when they choose.
WhatsApp access is being finalised. Over time, we aim to add more preventive-health areas and strengthen support across providers. We’ll judge progress by the health actions people complete and their ability to follow through on the next step.
