TERMS OF SERVICE
Terms of use
These terms govern your use of the Ofure app, website, and any connected portal. Please read them before using the Service. Last updated 27 July 2026.
1. Acceptance of these terms
These terms are a contract between you and Ofure Health Technologies Limited ("Ofure", "we", "us"), a company based at Airport Road, Abuja, Nigeria. By creating an account or using the Ofure mobile app, website, or any admin, provider, or employer portal (together, the "Service"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. What Ofure is for
Ofure helps you identify due preventive-care and follow-up actions, connect to relevant providers and facilities, track progress through reminders, and — if you choose — share specific, permissioned information with a trusted contact, family sponsor, employer, or provider.
3. What Ofure is not for
- Ofure is not an emergency service. If you have a medical emergency, contact your local emergency services or go to the nearest hospital immediately.
- Ofure does not diagnose conditions, interpret clinical results, or provide medical advice. It does not replace the judgement of a qualified clinician.
- Ofure does not guarantee the availability, accuracy, timing, or quality of any third-party provider, facility, or service referenced in the app, outside of specific arrangements we have entered into.
- Nearby listings supplied by Google Maps are third-party directory results, not confirmation that a facility provides the particular service you need. Confirm availability before visiting. Your use of Google Maps content is subject to the Google Maps/Google Earth Additional Terms.
4. Eligibility and accounts
- You must be at least 18 years old to create an Ofure account. Support for a parent or guardian tracking a minor's care is planned for a future release, not available today.
- You must provide accurate information when creating your account and keep it up to date.
- You are responsible for keeping your sign-in access secure. Ofure uses one-time codes/links rather than passwords; do not share a sign-in code or link with anyone else.
- Employer, provider, and admin/staff portal access is granted individually and may be revoked if these terms, or a separate organisational agreement, are not followed.
5. Trusted contacts and consent-based sharing
Ofure's sharing features are opt-in and user-controlled. You decide who to invite as a trusted contact or sponsor, exactly what categories of information they can see, and you can revoke that access at any time. If someone shares access with you, you agree to use it only for the supportive purpose it was granted for, and not to attempt to access information beyond what was explicitly shared.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose, or in a way that violates another person's rights
- Attempt to access another user's account or data without authorisation
- Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to circumvent the security or rate limits of the Service
- Scrape, reverse-engineer, or extract data from the Service beyond your own account's use
- Upload false health information intending to mislead a trusted contact, sponsor, provider, or Ofure staff
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
7. Free and paid services
Every Ofure account automatically receives our Free Foundation tier, at no cost, for as long as you have an account. Any future paid bundle or service is additive to Free Foundation — it is never a replacement gate, and losing access to a paid bundle does not remove your Free Foundation access. Payment processing is not yet live on the Service; if and when it is introduced, updated terms describing pricing, billing, and refunds will be presented to you before you are asked to pay for anything.
8. Employer, provider, and HMO relationships
If your access to Ofure is connected to an employer, HMO, or care-provider organisation, that organisation's own agreement with Ofure may include additional terms specific to that relationship. Where those terms conflict with this document for that context, the organisational agreement governs the business relationship, while this document continues to govern your individual use of the Service.
9. Intellectual property
The Ofure name, logo, app, and website content are owned by Ofure Health Technologies Limited or our licensors. You may use the Service for its intended personal or organisational purpose, but you may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the Service without our written permission. You retain ownership of the health data and content you provide; by using the Service, you grant us the limited right to process it as described in our Privacy Policy in order to provide the Service to you.
10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ofure disclaims all warranties, express or implied, regarding the Service, including its accuracy, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose. Ofure is not liable for any health outcome, missed appointment, or third-party provider action — the Service is a navigation and tracking tool, not a substitute for professional medical care. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the Service is limited to the amount, if any, you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.
11. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms, or if we discontinue the Service or a feature, with reasonable notice where practicable.
12. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of the Service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Nigeria, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the Service evolves. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "last updated" date on this page, and where appropriate, we will notify you directly. Continued use of the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
